Initially, vertical sand pumps were utilized to address the sedimentation concerns. However, due to the limited diving depth, these pumps could only operate effectively after draining the water from the tanks, resulting in suboptimal efficiency. Moreover, the plant faced regulatory pressure from environmental authorities, necessitating water-based operations, thereby adding complexity to the workers’ tasks. Recognizing the significance of the issue, the leadership of the group deployed a technical team to seek assistance from Ocean Pump.

Leveraging their extensive dredging expertise, the engineers at Ocean Pump proposed the ZJQ150-22-22 submersible dredge pump unit coupled with a supporting floating body. The leadership of Wuhu Urban Construction Group endorsed the proposed solution. Consequently, they visited our facilities to inspect the submersible dredge pump and acquaint themselves with the specific construction methodology.

In the finished product warehouse, Ocean Pump engineers provided the investigation team with images and videos showcasing the pump’s performance in real-world scenarios. This allowed the team to gain insights into the submersible dredge pump’s structure and prompted them to propose the addition of a protective casing around the pump body, thereby facilitating a technological upgrade for Ocean Pump.

In the supporting workshop, Ocean Pump engineers elucidated the structural characteristics of the floating body and provided practical examples of its usage. The visiting delegation posed detailed inquiries regarding operational procedures and application scenarios, to which the engineers responded comprehensively, earning high praise for their professionalism from the guests.
