We recommended the 8-inch gravel pump for the customer. Compared to standard sand pumps, gravel pumps are specifically designed for conveying large particles and highly abrasive media. Components like the impeller and liner are made from high-chrome wear-resistant alloy, with significantly increased thickness and hardness. This effectively resists severe wear from coarse sand, fundamentally solving the customer’s durability concerns.
System Configuration: Balancing Efficiency and Flexibility
Power Core: The 8-inch gravel pump is directly driven by a renowned brand diesel engine, ensuring a stable sand output of 50-80 m³/h over the 300-meter discharge distance.
Jetting System: Paired with a high-performance 6-inch high-pressure water pump, it generates a high-pressure water jet to impact the riverbed sand layer, effectively mixing the coarse sand and water into a high-concentration slurry for the main pump to extract. This is key to guaranteeing output.
Hull & Mobility: The dredger features a modular hull composed of two side pontoons and one central pontoon. This structure is stable, easy to transport, and simple to assemble on-site. Additionally, it is equipped with a propeller propulsion system driven by a single-cylinder diesel engine, allowing for flexible movement across the working area without needing a tugboat.

Building on the trust established through previous equipment, and our technical department’s careful study of the sand samples and responsive custom design, the customer quickly confirmed the order after reviewing the proposal.
