Flow and head are two basic parameters of the selection of slurry dredge pump.

b: after determining the series model of the pump, the flow and lift read the performance curve to determine the specific model and size of the said pump.
c: read the curve and calculate the power: the parameters that must be known to calculate the slurry dredge pump shaft power include flow rate, head, efficiency, slurry specific gravity; efficiency (η), determined by flow rate and head, is read by reading the performance curve; the customer cannot just provide it through empirical points. Usually (between 1-2), the power is calculated for estimation during the technical calculation.
