On March 5, 2019, a customer from Kunming, Yunnan Province, contacted the Ocean Pump Sales Department with the following requirements:
They sought a 4-inch gravel dredge pump made of white iron material, with an output of approximately 20 square meters per hour. The customer aimed to enhance both the quality and quantity of sand output. Notably, the river where the pumping would take place contained numerous pebbles and very little mud.
The site had boats available and 4-inch pipes installed, but no electricity was accessible. The pumping distance required was within 10 meters, and the total distance did not exceed 100 meters, with no significant elevation changes.
At the selection meeting, the Ocean Pump selection engineer proposed two ratio schemes: a high chromium alloy 4-inch gravel dredge sand pump and a 6-in 4-out ZS150 large particle sand pump. After careful consideration, the customer chose the ZS type. The plan involving the large-particle sand pump is deemed to be more durable, with a more stable output.
After the selection process, the Ocean Pump Industry entered into a contract with the customer. Upon receipt of the advance payment from the customer, the Ocean Pump Assembly Workshop assembled the four-inch sand pump and the 44kW diesel engine at the site.
